Bhaskar Basnet
Director of Cementing Operations
Bhaskar Basnet serves as the Director of Cementing Operations at Spinnaker, bringing over 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with 10 of those years at Spinnaker. His expertise spans cementing, acidizing, and hydraulic fracturing, both conventional and unconventional.
Throughout his career, he has held diverse roles in engineering, business development, and operations support. Bhaskar holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics and Mathematics and a master’s in Global Business Administration. Bhaskar has successfully led and delivered on multiple high-level projects, consistently exceeding performance expectations. His strengths lie in resource management, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, all while upholding the highest standards of integrity and operational excellence.
Lance Sollohub
Director of Engineering
Lance Sollohub serves as the Director of Engineering for Spinnaker Cementing Solutions, bringing his expertise to the forefront of the oil and gas industry. He is responsible for setting the technical vision for the company’s cementing portfolio. Lance’s work focuses on next-generation cement slurries designed to enhance well integrity, mitigate zonal isolation risks, and improve the long-term sustainability and performance of complex wells.
Lance is credited with numerous patents, including the groundbreaking AnkorSet cement slurry, a technology that is revolutionizing the geothermal and CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage) sectors by providing superior, long-term zonal isolation and durability in extreme environments.
Danney Edwards
Director of Business Development
Danney Edwards is the Director of Business Development at Spinnaker Oilfield Services, a role he has held since 2015. He focuses on delivering high-quality, environmentally responsible cementing solutions and aligning business initiatives with client needs.
Danney’s career spans over 35 years in the oil and gas industry, where he progressed through technical and leadership roles in cementing and stimulation before moving into sales and business development. He consistently delivered growth and strengthened customer relationships, from managing field operations to serving as Western Mid-Continent Sales Manager and Business Development Account Manager.
Samantha Zamarripa
Controller
Samantha “Sam” Zamarripa is an accomplished financial leader with over 16 years of accounting experience. She graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor of Science in 2008 and an MBA in 2011. After starting in public accounting, she transitioned to the oil and gas sector in 2012, becoming Controller at Spinnaker. Sam and her team ensure the accuracy and reliability of Spinnaker’s financial results. She believes good leaders set the tone and that change is constant for reaching full potential.
Scotty Walton
Cementing Service Line Manager
Scott “Scotty” Walton, Spinnaker’s Cementing Service Line Manager, oversees daily operations across all Spinnaker operating basins. He ensures customers receive industry-leading service quality and high safety standards.
Scott began his journey with Spinnaker in 2015 as a Cementing Supervisor, advancing to El Reno Area Manager in 2020, and ultimately becoming Service Line Manager in July 2025. With over 15 years of hands-on experience, Scott has been instrumental in transforming Spinnaker from a two-cement pump operation to a robust fleet of over 25 pumps.
Ronnie (Red) Jenkins
District Manager – South Texas
Ronnie “Red” Jenkins is an experienced oilfield professional with 26 years in cementing, fracturing, and acidizing operations. His expertise covers both field operations and office management, with a strong focus on safety and training oversight. He joined Spinnaker in January 2019 and currently serves as the District Manager/Operations Manager for South Texas.
Miles Hagee
District Manager – Permian/Delaware
Miles Hagee leads a highly experienced team of cementing specialists. He is recognized for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe work environment. Miles’ extensive career in oil and gas well cementing began in the Texas panhandle. He joined Spinnaker in 2016 and now serves as District Manager in the Delaware Basin, Southeast New Mexico. His team collaborates with clients to create plans that ensure job effectiveness, cost efficiency, and safety.
Clint Symes
El Reno District Manager
Clint Symes exemplifies leadership and dedication within the cementing industry. A proud graduate of Oklahoma State University, Clint began his professional journey as an agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor. In 2011, he transitioned into the cementing field, quickly demonstrating his aptitude and commitment.
In 2014, Clint brought his expertise to Spinnaker, where he has consistently advanced through key positions including Cementer, Field Service Supervisor, and Field Coordinator. Now, as the El Reno District Manager, Clint is committed to leading by example, always prioritizing safety and professionalism in his work.
