Introduction to Spinnaker
Spinnaker Oilfield Services LLC was founded in 2013 and is based out of El Reno, Oklahoma in the Mid-Continent Region and Hobbs, NM in the Delaware/Permian. Spinnaker services all major oil plays around Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Texas and New Mexico and specializes primarily in cementing operations in wells of all types.
Spinnaker is supported by Catapult Energy Services Group LLC, out of Houston, TX, and is backed by NGP (Natural Gas Partners). Founded in 1988, NGP is a private equity firm making direct equity investments in the energy sector with over $20 billion of cumulative equity commitments. The firm is recognized by the industry as setting a standard for portfolio company support, providing resources and creativity to assist the growth of its portfolio companies. NGP partners with “owner-managers” to build growth companies in the upstream, midstream and oilfield services sectors in North America.
